Job Description
Reporting to:
Branch Manager / Assistant Manager
Key Purpose:
To provide efficient and professional customer service, assist in achieving monthly targets set, to provide timely and accurate underwriting support to the branch
Areas of responsibility:
Dealing with Customers both over the telephone and on a face to face basis.
Dealing with enquiries and providing quotations for all aspect of our business (predominately Taxi Insurance) both new business and adjustments.
To take responsibility for areas of the business as advised by the Branch Manager i.e. the renewal process/ new business or renewal MID input/ ensure FSA/MID deadlines are met.
To deal with incoming post, chase client for outstanding documents on a daily basis.
To be proactive and assist in helping the office to achieve its monthly target.
The above represents the key areas of responsibility within the role.
However you may be required to cover additional duties as and when needed.

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines at times.
Ability to work successfully as part of a team.

Excellent telephone manner is essential.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
Good Numeracy and literacy skills.
Computer literacy and keyboard skills.
Strong and accurate administration skills.
Possess a strong knowledge of the company products.
Good attention to detail.
Good organization skills.
Good communication skills.
Previous insurance experience highly desired.
