Job Title: Trade Support Supervisor (Prime Brokerage)

Trade Support Listed Derivatives

Main Responsibilities:

Within a Trade Support team (5 people), candidate would be asked to ensure following duties on Exchange traded derivatives products are being performed successfully by the team:
Trade Capture/Record of all electronic/phone executions done by the trading desk and DMA clients.
Check outs with internal/external counterparties to ensure accuracy of transactions/allocations.
Intraday unclaimed follow-up, defaults reporting to Front-office, historical queries resolution.
Send out confirmations to any needed counterparty (Customers, Floor brokers...).
Intraday load of billing records in GMI plus associated reconciliation process.
New accounts opening in Trade Support tools.
Ensure static data for instruments/counterparties is correctly set up.
Monitor exceptions queues to make intraday business is running smoothly.

Supervisor will be responsible for:

Organising shifts patterns, appraisals, dealing with team member career development.
Participating in new customer on boarding processes.
Holiday approval.
Continuous review of team procedures, team cross-training.
Technical systems issues escalation/resolution, new projects to improve department workflow.
Implementation/roll-out of new systems solutions (file handling, front-office allocation...).

Professional/Technical Skills Required:

Products Coverage:
Listed Derivatives (Futures and Options).
Understanding of market risk associated to Exchange traded derivatives activity. Understanding of clearing workflows from trading to settlement).
Back-Office past experience is desirable. Middle Office past experience is essential. Etrading exposure would be a plus.
Technical/Systems knowledge:
Clearing house interfaces (TRS, Eurex GUI, CCW...etc), ClearVision / Emos would be a plus.
Microsoft Office package knowledge is essential (Access, Excel).
Person Skills:
Team player and ability to work under pressure within a challenging area.
Proven experience of supervision/managerial role.
Quick learner, persistent and showing tenacity. Ability to lead the team.
Quick adaptability to the company systems and be competent to propose alternative solutions.
Reporting Line:
Direct reporting to Trade Support Manager. Working within a team of 5 experienced people (Supervisor included) and sitting on the Trading Floor.
