Main Responsibilities:

Equity and Fixed Income client services covering AIS (Alternative Investment Solutions) and non-AIS customers.

This role will include settlement and corporate action operations for these customers (90% AIS and 10% non AIS currently).

This is a client-facing role where processes are to be put in place, defined and agreed between the Back Office (BO), the Trade Support (TS) and the Account Management desk (AMD).

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing claims process to the clients stocklender (and/or other lender’s as appointed) on behalf of AIS and non-AIS customers which have lent positions over XD to the Lender in close cooperation with the BO teams.

This will involve close liaison with AIS AMD and other desks.

Responsible for client reporting based on requirements from Clients / Business (es).

Monitoring and diarising all corporate event instructions received from the stock lender to my client and communicating these instructions to AMD and other desks.

On the settlement side, the following tasks will be required to be performed in this role:

Assist the on-boarding of clients on various equity products, being direct market access, prime brokerage, CCP or OTC products (CFDs, Sharia…).

Assist the client in recapping trades to the preferred format with the TS team and the AMD/transition team.

Assist the BO teams in the timely settlement of all client trades through pre-matching and fails management skills.

Dealing with clients’ breaks in case wrong information has been sent through the settlement pipeline with the BO and TS teams.

Overall tasks to be applicable to both areas:

Procedural & Control Compliance with creation, review and update of existing procedures.
Increase levels of automation to eliminate manual input.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven knowledge of the Equity Product Lifecycle.

Requirement to work closely with clients / BO teams / AMD / IT /other client services teams.

Requirement to work with in house system for trade capture.

Requirement as a minimum to be proficient with the following:-

MS Word - MS EXCEL - MS PowerPoint - MS Access.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of the fixed Income markets.
Knowledge of CFDs, SWAPs.
