Trade support cash equities – Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

Within equities products, Candidate would perform the following tasks:

Deals booking/allocations capture into different systems (back to back, custody).
Produce corresponding confirmations and send them to different counterparties.
Reconcile executions versus bookings on an intraday basis to manage risk efficiently.
Specifically dealing with French speaking customers.
Liaise with any pending/fail related to desk activity (desk plus DMA) with trading desk, External brokers, clients, client services department and settlement desk.
Volumes and breaks reporting to head of desk.

Languages:

Requirement to speak fluent French and English.

Technical/Systems knowledge:

Any in-house or external provider deal capture system/settlement engine.
Experience with electronic trading platforms.
Advanced I.T systems skills and new projects exposure.

Person Skills:

Team player, ability to cope with trading floor pressure

Number of year’s experience:

Minimum 2 years

Industry Knowledge:

Cash equities settlement and middle office experience (desk plus direct market access).
Prime brokerage, Stock lending/borrowing experience would be a considerable plus.

Position within hierarchy:

Reporting to trade support manager. Working within a team of 5 people and supporting 30 dealers. Possibility to move within the Hierarchy.
