Duties:

To assist the Manager in all aspects of the Hull and Liability division.
To assist in the production and issuance of all MRC slips, Cover notes, Policy documentation and Debit and Credit notes, and Accounting & Settlement(A&S) Procedures.
To assist, train, provide guidance and better the knowledge of the broker back up team.
To have full knowledge of all workflow within the division to ensure adequate work distribution and monitoring.
To assist in liaising with the Marine compliance officer in respect of all FSA issues and support, including but not limited to Contract Certainty, Conflict of Interest and Money laundering.
To liaise with Accounts and Claims departments.

Knowledge Required:

High standard of understanding of MRC slip preparation and endorsements whether direct insurance or reinsurance.
High standard of understanding of procedures for the production of all documentation relating to the risk involved.
Good computer knowledge and experience of Microsoft Products and Lotus Notes.
Good knowledge of Brokersure and/or equivalent insurance broking systems.
10 years of experience within Lloyd’s and Company underwriting markets.
Good understanding of FSA rules including Contract certainty and other compliance issues.
