The company is experiencing a new and exciting period of growth due to both substantial increases in the number of agencies and campaigns actively running. The company is searching for experienced London based Online Ad Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for driving and implementing advertising sales strategies across a number of top media agencies. You will be entrusted with maximizing targeted/premium revenue opportunities by deploying all available media including banner, sponsorship, email etc. in a manner that is consistent with the Media Agencies objectives and revenue expectations of the website publisher.
Job Description
Are you an experienced online advertising sales professional looking for that next big career move? Do you eat, sleep, and breathe digital media and have an enthusiastic interest in selling revenue generating advertising solutions to media agencies on behalf of property, automotive, entertainment, business, health, and entertainment sectors.
You will have already a minimum 2 years Digital/Online ad sales experience ideally gained from an ad sales agency, portal or major publisher; have already built and nurtured a solid network of media buyers & planners with primarily London based Agencies such as Starcom, Zed Media, Universal McCann, Mediacom etc…the expectation will be to hit the ground running in this fast pace sales environment.
Day-to-day work and goals:
Developing upon both existing and new relationships with media planners & buyers at interactive media agencies
Delivering professional responses to media briefs in a timely and effective manner
Pro-actively manage existing accounts and pursuing new business through research and prospecting
Maximizing revenue generation within your designated territory of media agencies and meeting/exceeding monthly/quarterly and annual targets.
Collaborating with the Media Sales Manager and sales team to grow revenue and market share.
Weekly/quarterly sales reporting (forecasting)
Good attention to administrative detail
Always exhibiting team work and cross-departmental co-operation
Skills
Minimum 2 - 3 years proven exemplary online advertising sales experience gained either from a ad sales agency, portal or publisher network
Excellent inter-personals using the phone or face-to-face
Team player
Creative thinking and self-starter skills
Ability to negotiate effectively is essential
Ability to engage in active listening
Commission: uncapped
Remuneration & Benefits: Both remuneration and benefits will be commensurate with experience and successfully completing an initial 3 month performance review. This opportunity includes:
