Job Description
Department: Service Department
Responsible to: Managing Director
Main Purpose of Job: To respond to customer enquiries relating to service issues. Maintain efficient running of service Department.
Increase revenue of Service Department
Main Duties:
Manage service and warranty support of the company’s products.
Manage maintenance and extended warranty contracts.
Provide M & E technical support to installers and agents by phone.
Manage network of service agents and engineers.
Manage service administrators.
Co-ordinate information with managers of other departments in the company.
Attend monthly inhouse quality meeting
Manage service department procedures and documentation.
Manage and maintain service software through support system.
Manage service accounts.
Carry out occasional site visits as required.
Record factory returns.
Any other duties as required in order to improve the running of the Service Department.
Person Specification:
Essential:
HVAC experience.
Experienced Service Manager.
Knowledge and experience of maintaining a network of service agents.
Full clean driving license
Desirable:
Ability to increase revenue of service department
Salary:
Good remuneration package to include bonuses and pension after qualifying period
Hours:
Normal office hours 8.30am til 5pm but for this role more working hours may be necessary in order to provide the necessary support to our customers
Benefits:
Remuneration is commensurate with experience.
The company offers 25 days annual leave, and, after qualifying period, a group personal pension plan and profit related bonus system.
