Working for an established Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating & Ventilation company, we are looking for an incumbent to undertake the following liason position.
Health and safety .
Legislation .
Technology .
Trade bodies .(HVCA ,CORGI ,REFCOM)
Training within all above.

This post is a liason position between , primarily and most importantly the statuatory requirements / bodies upon the company via H and S and alike and secondly between ourselves and our trade bodies HVCA CORGI Etc.
The encumbent would be expected to gain knowledge via either our retained
consultants or attendance to various traing courses and seminars and then translate the relevant facts clearly and concisely to the relevant parties within the company.
Draw up a scheduled training program for all staff levels and implement same via
the most cost effective means.
The post would also entail the sourcing of information on all new technological developments to ensure that the company stays ahead of the competition.

This posiution would suit a person with a obvious understanding of the HVCA industry.

Liaise with outside Health & Safety Management Advisor and pass on recommendations and advices to company employees and contractors where necessary and ensuring all are trained correctly in Health & Safety issues.
Ensure the office and warehouse working areas are correctly noticed / labelled re chemicals, gases and alike in keeping with HVCA standard.

This role is very much a liaison and information management role, as our client retains the services of an outside body, so no actual previous Health & Safety experience required, just the ability to be able to produce precise reports and train others.

The incumbent will also be expected to attend outside HVCA meetings as and when necessary, so a full driving license is essential.

The ideal applicant will be somebody with previous experience/knowledge of the HVAC industry, maybe somebody with prior experience as an Engineer that is now looking for a more office based opportunity for that next stage in their career.
