Responsible for the project management of corporate finance transactions and financial support to corporate reporting, business planning, business development and ad hoc projects

The main responsibilities will be:

Project management of corporate finance transactions, including:
Analysis of potential acquisition opportunities.
For small acquisitions, undertaking initial financial due diligence reviews.
Financial modelling and business planning.
Recommending transactions and funding structures, including drafting and negotiating Heads of Terms.
Liaising with our professional advisers to effectively manage transactions to completion.
Provision of information to external financial analysts/investors
Financial support to corporate and strategic business planning.
Financial support to business development activities, including joint venture structuring and major contract mobilisations.
Analysing financial and commercial risk across the business
Support other varied corporate projects.

The ideal candidate will:

ACA qualified, or equivalent, with relevant post qualification experience
Relevant Corporate Finance experience.
Good technical awareness, preferably with experience of IFRS accounting.
Strong financial modelling, forecasting skills and strong project management skills
Excellent communication and Influencing skills.
High level of business, commercial and risk awareness.
Enthusiasm and the ambition to progress.
