Audit & Assurance Administrator
Role Overview: To provide administrative support to the Audit & Assurance department
Duties include:
Preparing packs for weekly departmental meetings & booking rooms for these meetings
Participating in weekly departmental & other meetings, taking minutes & other related work
Assisting with drafting monthly management reports to various groups, committees & boards
Assisting with the drafting of quarterly management reports to the Audit Committee
Maintaining the departmental Upcoming Deadlines report
Liaising with Third Party Syndicates as required
Booking rooms & conference facilities for meetings between department & reviewees
Attending & participating in meetings between department & reviewees, including taking notes
Update and maintain audit issues log including distributing reminders & collection of responses
Regular update of the intranet site and the ‘Source’ documentation system
Follow up and collection of requested documentation from the auditees / reviewees
Distribution and collection of audit / review feedback forms, including monitoring, reporting and chasing for completion as per department guidelines
Creating and maintaining review time-plans
Creating information packs and populating reference tables for the reviewers as part of the pre-review activity associated with reviews
Monitoring progress of each review against its time-plan and populating time-plan monitoring reports
Monitoring progress towards resolution of issues raised in the reviews including issuing reminders and escalating where required as per department guidelines
Downloading data from the central record system and preparing draft “Findings Reports”
Assisting in the review of the data for adherence to guidelines by the underwriting teams
Raising questions with the underwriting teams and following up as per the department guidelines
Assisting with the preparation of reports documenting the findings of the reviews
Monitoring progress of each review against its time-plan and populating the weekly time-plan monitoring report
The ideal candidate will be from an Insurance background and educated to at least A Level standard
Knowledge of the Lloyd’s Insurance Market would be beneficial.
